Commission terms

These terms apply when you request a commission from EdefexArts ("I", "me"). By sending a request you agree to them. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Requests and acceptance

  • Sending a request is free and does not guarantee I will take it.
  • I review every request personally and may accept or decline at my discretion. If I decline, nothing is charged.
  • When I accept, the price is confirmed and a slot is reserved for you for 72 hours.

2. Payment

  • Prices are in US dollars. AUD amounts shown are approximate.
  • 50% deposit is due within 72 hours of acceptance to lock your slot. If it isn't paid in time, the slot is released.
  • The remaining 50% balance is due when the artwork is finished, before the final full-resolution files are released.
  • Card payments are processed by Stripe. I never see or store your card details.
  • 18+ commissions are paid by bank transfer (PayID or Wise) only.

3. Process and revisions

  • I share sketches and progress in your account. Each tier lists its included sketch revisions.
  • Major changes after the sketch is approved (new pose, new character, new composition) may be quoted as extra work.
  • Timeframes are estimates. I'll keep you updated if anything changes.

4. Cancellations and refunds

  • Before work starts, you can withdraw your request at any time. If you already paid a deposit, it is refunded in full.
  • After work starts, the deposit covers the work already done and is non-refundable, unless I cannot complete the commission, in which case I refund what you paid for unfinished work.
  • Once the balance is paid and files are delivered, the commission is complete.

5. Usage rights

  • I keep the copyright. You get a licence to use the artwork as listed in your tier.
  • Personal use: profile pictures, personal prints, sharing online with credit.
  • Commercial use (selected in the form or included in your tier, like streamer packs): use on your own channel, stream, or small merch runs as listed. Larger commercial use, resale, or NFTs/AI training need written permission.
  • I may share the finished piece in my portfolio and socials, unless we agree otherwise. 18+ commissions are never shown publicly.

6. Content I won't make

I don't make content involving minors in any sexual or suggestive context, real people without consent, hate content, or anything illegal. 18+ commissions are for adults only and require age confirmation.
